French trout


For dinner tonight, Claire pulled out her French chef magic and fried flour-encrusted almond trout, and Pat baked a magnificent loaf of Swedish limpa bread. Oooh la la, them's fine eats.

A bone from from one of these fish lodged in Claire's throat, which resulted in two trips to the university health clinic, a time wasting trip to an ear, nose and throat specialist, followed by four lovely hours at the university hospital emergency room. The upshot? I removed trout from the house menu.
